Vintage Size 8 Chiffon & Taffeta Drape Neck Belted Beaded Aqua Dress

Perfect as a cocktail or hostess dress or prom/formal event gown, this gorgeous chiffon dress has a beautiful draped cowl neckline, beaded chiffon short sleeves, and a pretty little attached belt with a bow on the front. Lined with taffeta. In like new condition, paper tags still fully intact. Fabric content is unknown, but I would guess the chiffon is silk and the taffeta is polyester. Based on style, material, and tags, I would date this as a 1970s dress, possible early 1980s. Union made in the USA! The dress is labeled as a size 12, but the measurements (shown in the photos) indicate it is closer to a modern size 8, which is why the tag and listing size are different. Length is 56 inches.
