Vintage Smal Floral Print Florentine Gold Gilt Frame Flemish Flower G B Florence

Vintage, likely from the 1960s. This pretty piece appears to be a print of an 18th century Italian work. Italian artists were influenced by Flemish still life paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. This miniature is framed in a beautiful, gold gilt-painted frame with glass. Label on the reverse is marked, "Flemish school Flowers" and "G. B. Florence Made in Italy". The piece measures approximately 5 1/2” x 6 1/2”x 1/2". There is some wear to the frame -- chips, scratches/scuffs -- which does not detract from its beauty and adds to its vintage charm. Some wear to the reverse side, and the hook is slightly off-centered. Overall, in good vintage condition. Made in Italy.
