Beautiful homemade reversible smock dress, made of linen and intricately embroidered with Dorset buttons on sleeve cuffs. This was made by an elderly lady who made a career traveling the country to teach sewing and embroidery. Not sure of age. I don't believe it's antique, but it is old. Measurements taken laying flat. 39" long from top of collar to hem 22.5" pit to pit 40" wide in hip area when smoothed out

thebeesknees16 Hi, quick question when you say 40in wife at the hip, are you measuring just the front (like side seam to side seam) or is that the measurement all the way around the garment? Thank you 🙂
