Vintage Smokey Topaz Ring

Crafted this ring from a vintage earring which became the setting. I do know k ow what stones are made from my guess is synthetic or rhinestones? Base is vintage style with a filagree design and a is Goldtone as u can see in pics. It is New And made In USA and is ADJUSTABLE. I do not know the metal content.
