Vintage Snakeskin Embossed Leather Cuff Bracelet

I bought this at a vintage shop in Paris in 2008. The metal is gold colored but I don’t know if it is gold-plate or something else. I am guessing the body is leather embossed to look like snakeskin. Measures about 3” across. My wrist is about 6.25” around for reference.
