Vintage Spaghetti Santa Claus Shelf Sitter Figurine, 1950s Christmas Decorations, Betty Lou? California Pottery? Napco? The Santa Claus shelf sitter figurine was made in the 1940s-1950s. His hat and coat are adorned by curly "Spaghetti" trim. The figurine is unmarked. Santa shelf sitter looks very similar to Johanna Ceramics California Pottery or Betty Lou Nichols Ceramics. Johanna was in business in the 1940s era. By the end of WWII, she closed up shop and sold several molds to Betty Lou Nichols Ceramic. They produced several Johanna Ceramics figurines throughout the 1950s. Most likely this Santa Shelf sitter was made by one of these companies. Napco and Kreiss also made spaghetti trim Santa figurines. But without a label or stamp, the maker cannot be definitively stated. Dimensions are approximately 4.8” X 5.7” X 3”. The figurine is in good vintage condition with little to no wear. Face, mittens, and boots have crasings. There are no cracks or chips, free of major damage, no repair, no restore.
