Vintage Sport-Abouts Denim Jeans 34x30

This is a pair of jeans by Sport-Abouts. They are marked that they were made in the USA. They are fancy/ dress like with a hook instead of a button for the waist. They are a thin and softer than normal jeans. They are marked as size 34 X 30 and are about 17 inches wide flat and 28 inches on the inseam. There is a burnt smoke type of smell to them, It did not wash out so I am thinking it is the material itself.
