Vintage Steiff Limited Edition Teddy Rose 1925

Steiff Collectible White Button in the Ear Teddy Rose 1925, #1142 of 10,000. Like new wiith original box and certificate of authenticity. Has been in storage for over 30 years in smoke and pet free home. As the name implies, the bear has a soft pastel pinkish rose hue. From the certificate: "In addition to its particular color this bear is considered even more rare because of its center seam. In order to utilize every bit of precious mohair material, the small portion of the fabric remaining along the edge of the bolt was used by cutting the head pattern into two sections rather than one. Therefore, only every eleventh bear had a center seam."
