Vintage Sterling Mid Century Modern Hinged Taxco Clam Bracelet Cuff

Vintage late 70’s early 80’s Mexican sterling silversmith work from Taxco origin city of silversmithing. Cottage industry there specialized in intricate imaginative unique jewelry pieces such as this iconic clamp hinged clamshell style. These bangles came spring loaded so easy quick on with a snap. This mod design has nodes and clean V lines wrap the wrist. Left in storage untouched for many years , still has the original patina which has such a beautiful dark gray blue sheen that only old silver has. Can fit smaller wrist if worn slightly more in the forearm. Accommodates up to 7 inch wrist comfortably This bangle is hallmarked for silver, has oxidation, rubbing and wear from use and storage.
