Vintage Sterling Silver Native American Kachina Tribal Brooch

Vintage sterling silver brooch of the Rainbow Man, a ye’ii or supernatural being found in Navajo mythology. The curved symbol often appears in Native American jewelry; it represents the being who controls the rainbow and is a symbol of harmony. Marked STERLING. This brooch was on display at The Dragon Dreams Museum in Chattanooga, TN (I suppose it does look a little like a stylized dragon). Closed permanently in 2016, I have recently purchased the contents.
