Vintage Sterling Silver Taxco Abalone Leaf Pendant Brooch

Vintage Taxco sterling silver brooch in leaf design and set with abalone shell in purples, greens, and blues. Brooch has a round bale on the back for a chain to be added so brooch can be worn as a pendant. Abalone shell does have a crack in it but the shell is still solid in the frame. You can see this crack in the last picture. Brooch measures approx. 2 and 1/4th of an inch length and 1 and 13/16ths of an inch wide. Stamped with faded Taxco, Mexico, and 925 stamps and with a tiny bell shape. Acid tests positive for sterling silver. G
