Vintage Sterling- What the Heck Is It? Silver Boiled Egg Topper

Vintage cooking tool from a family home, built in the 20’s in NY. Did some research, apparently it is a Boiled Egg Cutter Scissor - Holder. The pointy ‘tines’ or ‘teeth’ are used to cut off the top of a soft boiled egg. There is 1 missing ‘tine’ or ‘tooth’ but does not affect its use. A practical and unusual conversation piece. Stamped Sterling 336 Believe its origin is England due to the heritage on the Mother’s side of the family. Maybe you’ll come up with other uses for it??? Weight is 1.52 Troy Oz.
