Vintage Studio Art Pottery Serving Plate Signed by Harpa 1983 Hand Painted 11.5". This is a beautiful plate. Quality piece and heavy - weighs just over 3 lbs. This is artist signed on the back - what looks to say "Harpa" and 5/83. I cannot confirm who the artist is. My research led me to Harpa Ardal from Iceland (later in Canada) who was a master potter and glazing alchemist. She lived from 1925 to 2019. The 5/83 may be the date May 1983 or possibly a numbered series. Colors are pinks and blues. Measures approx. 11.5 inches across. Would make a beautiful serving plate.
