Vintage Taxco Mexico Black & Sterling Silver Statement Pendant

This is a stunning large sterling silver pendant from Taxco, Mexico, a city with a notable history of fine silversmithing. The pendant features an 18x24 mm black (glass or acrylic) cabochon set in a sterling silver frame which attaches to a silver oval hoop at the compass points. The pendant has a drop of approximately 2 inches including bail and a width of 1 inch.
