Vintage Tie Bar with Moonstone Art Glass Clip Clasp - Restored

Tie bar - tie clip - tie clasp. Call it what you will. The art glass stone used here was from an old jewelry factory, destined to be on a tie bar. So the glass stone is 40s to 50s, unused, and it was added to the alligator clip which is a recent-day finding used to restore this. Fascinating piece of oblong molded glass that is brown and then blends into moonstone glass in the center and then blends back into brown. Very cool. The (not vintage) base is a new (it looks pitted but it is NOT!) goldtone alligator clip. Ruler set for size. Will come in a jewelry gift box. box. No flaws.
