Vintage Tom Thumb Page Grocery Store Advertising Doll Fun Farm Dakin 12" Plush

Vintage Tom Thumb mascot, "Tom" plush doll by Dakin stands 12" tall. CONDITION: Good, vintage condition and exactly as seen in my photos. A little Tom Thumb Page History...Charles and Robert Cullum opened a small grocery store chain in Dallas, Texas in 1948. They named their company Tom Thumb because they were the little guys operating amongst the giants. This doll that I have had for about 20 years is representative of the original mascot. He had a pencil behind his ear and his tongue was out.
