Vintage Tooled Leather Bag Cherokee Lady Headdress Ethnic Purse Handbag Calf Hair Native American This is the coolest bag! This purse is tooled leather with perhaps calf hair? for the white part that surrounds the person wearing a headdress. I am guessing that this bag was probably made in Mexico but I could definitely be wrong about that. Please note that this bag is not in perfect condition but I believe that it is easily repairable. As seen in the last 3 photos, the outer pocket lining is starting to come away from the outside. I would think a touch of some sort of glue would remedy this. Also, on the handle (which has patina so is not perfectly clean,) there are two spots that I note that have started to come undone at the seam. There is also a very small spot that looks like either a hard rub or the start of a slit. There are a couple of light spots on the bag as well. This bag has silver tone metal feet and silver tone metal "ASTRO" zippers with the zipper pull that zips the middle, main part of the hangbag being slightly bowed. There is one outer slip pocket and four zipper compartments on the inside with the middle pocket separating the inside of the bag. Length: 11 7/8 across the bottom Width: 4.5" across the bottom Strap Drop: Just shy of 6.5"
