barbarakmarcus The gold is unmarked as far as I can see. This item was purchased by my Mom as a 14K piece, she though the stones were ruby, but I tested them and tourmaline is what came up. I have had this necklace since 1980. I don't think these are lab grown. Thanks for your interest. Barbara
