Vintage Traditional Chinese Phoenix + Lotus Ceramic Teacup with Lid

Traditional Chinese teacup with lid. Ceramic with paintings of birds and lotuses + the Chinese word for “double happiness.” I think the bird is a vermilion phoenix, which is a key symbol in Chinese culture. It represents the most important direction (south) and is a symbol of joy and peace, seen as a harbinger of auspicious days to come. (I looked this up out of curiosity.) VGUC. This is probably from the 90s or even the 80s. Bought new/original owner (my parents). Signs of wear: Gold leafing on handle is fading in spots and there’s a red spot inside the cup (I suspect this is from production, though). No chips. 3-7/8”H x 3.25”D 5.25”H w/ lid SFPF home
