This is a rare Anchor Hocking Tree of Life Kentucky Bourbon bottle from the early 1950s. It has a raised tree of life design on the front and back. The overall shape of the bottle is also very unique. There are no chips or cracks. The glass does have some haze due to its age. However, when the bottle has liquid in it, it looks clear (see last pic filled with water). I think Old Charter Kentucky Straight Bourbon was sold in this bottle. The stopper is heavy glass with plastic around the base & it stays snug in the bottle. Markings on the bottom of the bottle include the Anchor Hocking "anchor", D-9 (Item/Mold number), 57 (Manufacturing permit number), 51 (year of manufacture) 5 (might be the factory number?). Front of bottle says "Federal law prohibits sale or reuse of this bottle". Federal Law only required that phrase from 1935 through 1964, so it's fine. Probably don't distill your own liquor and sell it in this bottle, just in case. :) Approximate measurements: 8" tall without stopper 10.75" tall with stopper 5.5" wide at the widest point 2" deep **CANNOT BE BUNDLED WITH OTHER ITEMS**
