Vintage Tricot Comme des Garcons Womens Black Wool Double Breasted Blazer ~1989

Classic little black jacket from iconic Japanese fashion house Comme des Garcons' more casual line, Tricot Commes des Garcons women. Made in Japan, late 1980's Excellent pre-owned condition, lovingly stored in a garment bag in a smoke free household. Lightweight wool crepe fabric, partially lined. Peaked collar, 6 buttons, double breasted. Relaxed fit was meant to shrug around the waist. Small shoulder pads give it a defined shape at the top. Measurements with jacket closed: shoulder to shoulder 18 1/2" (plus about an extra inch on each side due to the shoulder pads) armpit to armpit 19" waist 16 1/2" hip 17 1/2" sleeve length from shoulder seam to wrist 22 3/4" No size given, which was typical of Japanese designers at this time -- it was assumed everyone wore the same size!
