Vintage Trifari Lucite Starfish Gripoix Style Goldtone Rope Accent Clip Earrings

Hard to find Trifari signed starfish clip earrings feature a deep ocean blue Gripoix style lucite inset, quite often referred to as jelly belly. They measure 1.42“ and feature a unique clip back with springy comfort clip mechanism. These date sometime in the late 80’s to early 90’s. During the late 1980’s, Trifari stamped a “Trifari TM” mark on its costume jewelry. These earrings each carry a double Trifari TM hallmark on the reverse side. On both earrings the clip back arm is stamped and the back of the earring frame is also stamped.
