Vintage Tuxedo Pants w/ Button Fly! 41x32.5 1940s?

Gorgeous black tuxedo pants. I am guessing they are from the 1940s, but I am not an expert - I'd love any info people might have on age! They have an adjustable strap on the back, and buttons on the front - I am guessing to secure a vest or cummerbund. I have worn these in the past with the ivory dinner jacket I also have for sale - make me a bundle offer! Waist is 41" with lots of extra fabric and the inseam is 32.5"
