Vintage USSR Soviet Military Brass Belt Buckle & Russian Ushanka Hat Pin VTG GUC CCCP Communist Party Communism Hammer & Sickle Star Red Army Cold War Era 80s The belt buckle was a status symbol for Soviet servicemen during a bygone era, and was sometimes even used as a tool. These were both worn by a soldier in the Soviet Armed Forces during the Cold War in the 1980s. They are vintage items of a utilitarian nature, so some age and distress are present but relatively light. The photos best capture their condition, so please inspect for details and ask for clarification if you need it. Brass buckle has been carefully cleaned and polished to a shine, although it will naturally continue to reform a patina so trace amounts of oxidation may be present. Hat pin was taken from an Ushanka (traditional Russian fur hat with flaps) that could not be restored. Plating and enamel on hat pin are fully intact and vibrant except for a small area on the backside which cannot be seen when worn. Great overall condition for vintage items such as these!
