Vintage Unicorn Gold plated hinged Locket Ring

Vintage Unicorn hinged Locket Ring. Highly ornate band with the medallion being "The Unicorn Rests in a Garden," also called "The Unicorn in Captivity," best-known of the Unicorn Tapestries. The design on this ring is from the well known series of seven Gothic Tapestries known as "The Hunt Of The Unicorn". The Unicorn is enclosured from which he could easily escape, tethered with a loose chain to a pomegranate tree and circled by a short fence. (Worldhistory.org) I'm not sure of the material looks like gold plated. There is some finish loss on some of the high points of this ring. Hinged top opens and closes to conceal what's inside. The ring was made in a collection with perfume, I believe "Toujours Moi". Adjustable band. I'm wearing on my ring finger and my ring size is approx. 7". Face of the ring measures approx. 3/4" - 1". See photos for measurements wear - some fading in the gold overlay due to time. Preloved. Smokefree home. No missing parts. Works fine.
