Vintage Upholstery Brocade Fabric 50” X 56” Floral Rusty Orange Gold & Off-White

This is a piece of beautiful heavy vintage brocade upholstery fabric. The background is off-white. Beautiful textured floral design. The flowers are a terra-cotta orange color and light brown. The stems & leaves of the flowers as well as the swirled embellishments around flowers are made of a gorgeous gold colored thread which gives this fabric its beautiful sheen and personality. It glistens in different angles of light & makes this beautiful upholstery fabric look very warm and rich. Measurement- 56” X 50” -please note it has raw cut edges therefore you’ll have to even out the edges, so please keep that in mind when noting measurements. There is some decorative fringe but it is only on approximately 1/2 of one edge. Fiber content is most likely cotton & rayon- best guess- no tag. Please note there are a few stains on the underside. For example there was some masking tape that peeled off & left some slightly darker areas. Additionally, there are a few minor dark stains on the underside; however, the tape lines and most of the small stains do not show through to the front- with the exception of one (I point out with my finger in video) - even that you can barely see the underside stain on the correct side of the fabric. I’m including a few strips of the fabric which can be used to embellish your craft or as swatches. This could be enough to make a beautiful bag, upholster small chair cushion, footstool or generous pillow covers. Pet free & smoke-free home. Thanks for looking!
