Authentic, preowned, vintage Valentino 2 Piece Medieval Mosaic Runway Vintage Silk Evening Gown. Both pieces fully-lined. From the '89 Spring/Summer runway (see video). Documented on page 204 of Valentino, Thirty Years of Magic in '92, and featured as part of the exhibit "Nan Kempner: American Chic" which was on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from December 2006 - March 2007 (Kempner owned and wore the same piece). The top is made for off shoulder wear and the skirt has layers of silk chiffon fabric, giving it gorgeous movement! A true collector's piece. No size tag, fits like a modern M. Measurements (appx): Top: Shoulders - 16.25in, Bust - 37in, Waist - 34in, Length - 23in, Sleeve Length - 23in; Skirt: Waist - 28in, Hips - full, Length - 41.5in. Preowned/vintage with some signs of wear : one teensy snag on skirt at zipper.
