Sadly I do not know the history of this vest. There is no tag so I know nothing about it. The back and lining feel like cotton. The front feels very much like wool. I bought it at a vintage shop about 20 years ago. I have never worn it. It's been in my closet ever since. The Buttons are wooden. See in the pictures a small separation of the sew line at the top of the back of the neck. Other than that the Vest is in great shape. traceywithaney @jdm18667 Hi Justin.. there is no tag, so I do not know the size. But I can tell you some measurements. From top of shoulder to top of shoulder it measures 15in. The “wool” area material from top of shoulder to point at bottom of the vest is 24 inches. While buttoned the width of the same material is 20 inches. There is a small adjustable strap in the back of the vest. Hope this helps.
