Vintage Volupté Cosmetic case - carryall - cigarette case - make up

Definitely a rare & gorgeous find! ❤️💎 Mid-century/Art Deco make-up case from the once top-reining cosmetics company. Case contains a lipstick compartment that stays put unless you pull it out, a spring loaded, flawless mirror that pulls down & reveals a 2nd large compartment. Also a powder compartment that snaps shut & still has the little powder puff. Over all the case is in excellent vintage condition! There are some surface scratches and slight discoloration on outside of the case. Lipstick holder has remnants of lipstick (could most likely be removed- I left it "as is" 💄). Photos show all previous love. Volupte described this piece as, "a case without handles that opens like a book". Adding, "All-in-one elegance in an afternoon or evening carryall". Volupte emerged as market leader in the 1940s and 1950s, producing a range of elegant functional compacts that epitomized the glamour of the 40s & 50s.
