Vintage W.H. Grindley & Co The Victory Covered Vegetable Bowl

Vintage Covered Vegtable Bowl. It was made by W. H. Grindley, Stoke on Trent, England. The pattern is "The Victory". Apparently there is more than one pattern with this name. This one has roses. Based on the Wreath backstamp, this set would have been made between 1914 and 1925. The measurement of the bowl from handle to handle is 12 inches. The height of the bowl when the lid is on is approximately 5 1/2.” The bowl has a lovely wreath like clasp. The 6 sided pedestal has gold trim. There is a lovely sash design in gold leaf running through the clasp of the lid. The colors are a white background, with pink roses, yellow flowers, blue flowers and green leaves. There is generous gold leaf design. This is in good vintage condition. It has been preloved and should be considered as such. No chip, cracks, crazing or staining.
