Vintage sterling silver with 14K Gold Plate square mirror compact by Watson Co with monogram. Monogram appears to be EDF. Engraved inside MARCH 23-1938. Beautiful etched line design with yellow gold plated applied stripe accents on both sides. There is a gold polished rectangle cartouche on one side with a monogram. The interior features a mirror and a powder compartment. Powder compartment is engraved with a date. Push button closure. Closes securely. Measures approx 2 3/8" long, 2 3/8" wide, 1/4" thick when closed. Weighs approx 54.1g, 84.1dwt. Marked 14K STERLING crown W lion 20 GP Very nice condition with some slight tarnish and surface scratching.
