Vintage WEISS Green Rhinestone WREATH Round Gold Tone Brooch Pin 1.5" missing Signature Weiss is known for making beautiful costume jewelry. They mainly use rhinestones. The backs of the pieces are beautifully plated and sealed to prevent moisture from ruining the rhinestone. This piece was difficult to capture the beauty of the green. However, against the blue background, it seemed to look much more true to color. Weiss was founded in New York City by Albert Weiss. He originally worked for CORO and went off on his own from 1942-1971. His pieces are difficult to find today. They are highly sought after.
