Vintage White Leather Gloves

These gloves were kept in the original box. You can see these were worn but still in good condition. The leather has some marks noted in the photos, but for gloves this old,they’re surprisingly clean. I did not try to clean them. These are from around 1920-1950. Worn to church every week. I put them on my hands that are usually a size 7.5 and I couldn’t get my hand in at all. The leather is somewhat stiff, but they are also small due to when they were purchased - possibly size 5 or 6. Vintage sizing is somewhat different than today and probably on the smaller side. The 2 pearl buttons are chipped a bit. One is more shiny than the other which makes me think one of the buttons was replaced at some point. I think the dull one is the original. A really special piece for someone who is a collector of vintage or period pieces, but be sure to check photos. Purchased in New Haven, CT.
