Vintage Whiting & Davis gold mesh evening bag with chain or can be a clutch

My Grandma’s evening bag from the 1940s! Pristine condition, no flaws ir missing bits. Gold satin lining is clean and fresh. The chain handle can be concealed inside to use the bag as a clutch bag. There are a couple of scratches on the clasp. Width = 8 in., Height = 5 in.
