Vintage Whiting and Davis Gold Mesh Evening Bag with Rhinestone Snake Clasp Awesome clutch Evening purse with snake chain strap and clear rhinestone snake clasp, original branded Whiting & Davis taffeta lining with inside pocket, and marked inside the purse frame on both sides, "Made in U.S.A. - 2983 - Whiting & Davis Co." For anyone that may attend a formal, cocktail hour, or "little black dress" affair, even a prom... this handbag is sure to be a hit. Measurements:  7" w x 5" t Condition:  Good vintage condition with some minor plating loss on the metal frame and strap. Some small dots of corrosion can be seen on the left side and the inside of the frame shows patina. The mesh appears to be in fantastic shape. The rhinestones look clear and firmly in place. The clasp works well and the lining doesn't have any rips. On close inspection, you can see some little dots of staining where the frame connects to the lining (likely carried from the patina). Otherwise, normal wear for age. Please see all photos.
