Vintage Whiting and Davis Mesh Evening Purses (2) Gold and Silver

Lot of 2 Vintage 1970's Whiting and Davis Evening Purses. #1 Gold clamshell style measures appx. 7" across. Exterior is in excellent condition, kiss lock frame and strap is matching gold metal. Inside lining has some staining - see image. #2 Silver 1970's Fringe Detail Purse. This purse features a unique long design appx. 10", long enough to fit a cell phone or wallet. Kiss lock frame is ornately designed with floral motifs. The strap attached comes in a matching silver metal. The interior of this purse is lined with satin fabric and requires a few stitches to secure it to the bag, but I leave that to a more skilled hand. There is a "Whiting And Davis" tag sewn into the lining of both pieces as well as stamped on the interior of the purse frames. These bags are simply stunning, they sparkle like treasure and really deserve to be proudly displayed when not being worn in dramatic fashion!!
