Founded by professional bowler, Bill Von Henkle in 1945, Bowler's Shirt & Uniform was an originator of better designed garments for athletes. Comfort, flexibility, and breathability, was achieved through use of modern materials and improved custom designed garment patterns.
This aqua colored women's bowling shirt was one of those garments, apparently worn by Agnes Bates. There is no fiber tag, but it feels and looks like 100% cotton, and most likely from the 60's (possibly the 50's). Accented with pleats, the shirt allows you to move and roll that ball straight down down the alley! There had been some sort of insignia on that back (probably the team sponsor or team name) which was removed, and has left some pulls in the fabric (see the photos). Otherwise, no other issues, all the original buttons are intact. It is over 60 years old, though... this is no replica.
The shirt fits like a Women's medium
