Vintage Womens Maroon Brown Mouton Lamb Fur Shearling Short Coat Collar

1950’s Luxuriously thick and soft Mouton shearling lamb's fur short coat from Cain Sloan Co. This sheepskin coat is made with Mouton Fur with a texture and quality similar to mink. The color is deep brown color with a slight hue of maroon. It features a full collar which can be turned up for warmth ,a hook and eye front,two side felt lined pockets; trimmed in a passementerie braid. The beautiful floral lining has delicate small blue and pink flowers. There is a monogram on lower right panel "GMC". It can be worn open or closed. There is a fur loop off left sternum inside,but the hook is missing. This Coat is from the 1950's and was sold in the fur Salon at Cain Sloan Company in Nashville Tennessee. There not a size tag but flat lay measurements indicate a size 4 or 6. Please compare your measurements carefully. Shoulder Length 20" Waist 23" Side to Side Sleeves 25" (Shoulder to end of cuff ) Cuff length 3.5” Coat Length 25” (Shoulder to bottom ) This coat fits me perfectly and I wear a 4 or 6.It is incredibly soft and warm . A stunning true vintage lined georgous Mouton fur coat. The color and condition are amazing.
