Vintage Wood Rising Sun Purse jewelry Box Art Deco Hidden Hinge Clutch Handbag

this is a great vintage wooden box made in India. It has a hidden hinge system and no magnets or snaps or anything to keep it together, but the top wedges onto the bottom just perfectly. the lines are carved in, running outward from the small brass detail like a rising sun. This is minor damage to the top left corner of the sun that has been repaired. Sides are brass. This is a beautiful work of art and I haven't seen anything exactly like it online This is a very French style of handbag
