Vintage Worthington Suit Black White Glen Plaid Skirt and Jacket houndstooth

This is a nice Worhtington suit from the 1980s. Very standard cut and very good quality. The fabric is a poly/rayon blend in a black and white glen plaid check pattern. Jacket: Single buttno vented built in shoulder pads fully lined with decorative (not functional) pockets at the hip. The armholes of the jacket are cut relatively high for a mid-range suit which is a nice higher end touch. The buttons are black plastic circles set in gold metal. On me (size 10, bust 39", waist 31" with slightly longer than average arms) I like the look of this jacket but found the armholes a teeny bit too high for my frame and the sleeves a teeny bit shorter than i l ike. I would totally wear this jacket though, probably not with the skirt but over jeans and heeled sandals with a good small bag. Flat measurements: shoulder to shoulder: 15.5" armpit to armpit: 20" waist area: 18.75:" length: 30" underarm sleeve seam: 17" Compare the measurements below to your body , remembering to leave an appropriate amount of wearing ease. I would say if you usually buy 'petite' and the rest of the measuremments work for you, you will be in business!
