Vintage Y2K Carmen Marc Valvo Black Lace Strapless Cocktail Dress, XS to S

Gorgeous Y2K black Chantilly lace strapless cocktail party dress with an interior corset by iconic designer Carmen Marc Valvo. Black lace overlaid over black satin. Boned interior corset fastens up the center back with metal hooks and eyes. I have lightened some of the photos to show details - the color is a rich deep black. Scalloped hemline with black beading as pictured. Does up the center back w/ a long nylon zipper which closes all the way to the top. The dress is too small for my mannequin & the zipper would not close all the way. Inner black lining from neckline to hem. DESIGNER LABEL: Carmen Marc Valvo Signature. CONDITION: Excellent - No stains, holes, fading, discoloration, rips, tears, snags, odors, or other issues. All bead work is in excellent condition and appears to be present and complete. Gently worn and very well cared for. SIZING: Tagged a vintage size 8. Based on the measurements below, this would best fit a modern size Extra Small to Small depending on how you like your fit.
