Bigsby & Kruthers was a high profile men's clothier in Chicago for 30 years from 1970 to 2000. This coat is 100% pure wool. Easily repairable torn pocket (seen in photos), not super noticeable but a good tailor could easily stitch that up. 2 small stains/discoloration inside the lining, I think one could actually come out with dry cleaning. Some flawed button on one of the sleeves, also easily replaceable. This coat is vintage and rare, thus the price. Really a one of a kind piece.

@sydneydgoodwin this is a 50 year old jacket that’s very high quality, but it’s certainly worth no more than $200 at best. I don’t see how you can possibly think this is a $1250 jacket.

Also, if I bought the coat, I’d have to replace the buttons and get the pocket sewn, which is probably $20-$30 at a tailor nearby.
