Vintage Yalalag Dangle Cross Pendant Necklace CEL 925 Sterling Silver • Preowned, very good condition, minor imperfections from use/age • The Yalalag cross design originated in the town of San Juan Yalalag in the mountains east of Oaxaca. This unique design originated in the sixteenth century in Salamanca, Spain & was brought to Mexico by the friars during the colonial period. • The pendant hangs 3.75" long from the bail to the bottom dangling crosses. The largest cross is 1"x1", the 3 smaller dangle crosses are 5/8" x 7/8". The silver beads are 3/8", the length of the chain is 19.5", & the width of chain is 1/16". • Sterling Silver • Signed CEL, 925, 3 • Circa 1950's • Weight 17.22g
