Button holes discretely located on the edge of the front rib (i.e. the button holes are not visible when not in use.) Upward Arrow pattern, very soft to the touch. *My mom have this cardigan custom made for her where she provided the 100% wool yarn to the factory. Note: This sweater doesn't seem to pill, but it does snag with one very small snag on the sleeve and two on the inside.
