Vintage Yugoslavian Wedding Cup Carved Wood Shepherd Cup Folk Art Bohemian Decor

Beautiful vintage Yugoslavian folk art shepherd’s cup hand carved out of a single piece of teakwood. Most likely dating from the 1970s, the Yugoslavian Shepherd’s Cup was often given to newlyweds as a traditional wedding gift. This ornate bird-shaped drinking cup is hand carved with incised designs all over and a pierced “bird’s tale” handle. Intricate carved wood details include oak leaves with a stippled design in the background, and a zig zag pattern that also wraps around the handle. This item is in great vintage condition but there is some minor wear that is common in pieces of this age. Length: 6” Width: 2.5” Height: 3 5/8"
