Vintage ZSOLNAY COCKER SPANIEL with EOSIN Green Blue Gold Glaze.

Zsolnay Pecs dog figurine in the green bronze glaze with hints of blue. He's so gorgeous! Hand-painted porcelain. No cracks or repairs that I see. The "1868" foundation date stamp. c1980. Dimensions: H:4.5" x W:3.5" x D:2.25" Some history: In 1893 Zsolnay's chemists developed a rich iridescent glaze. They named it "Eosin" after the Greek goddess of the dawn, Eos. This rainbow hued finish became wildly popular. ****This is from my parent’s 1798 home in Vermont and is vintage, used in another era and shows signs of wear appropriate to it’s age. I will do my best to include pictures and/or describe any flaws or defects. *****
