Vintage alligator bag

This stunning black alligator handbag is by Dofan, a French luxury purse manufacturer. The structured bag has gold tone hardware with a center tab clasp that gently lifts to open. The cream-colored leather interior is in pristine condition. There’s a zip pocket on one side and a three-compartment slip pocket on the other side that includes the original matching leather change purse/card holder and Dolfan mirror, in its original late 50s/early 60s cellophane. The purse, which stands upright on a framed bottom, was never used. Dimensions: 10.25” L x 7.25” W x 3” D. Strap drop: 5”.
