Vintage alligator leather bag

This is a particularly fabulous version of the classic alligator bag, with the small alligator wrapped from front to back around the bag. It can be worn as a clutch or a wristlet. It is roomy at approximately 14 x 7 x 2”. Zips closed. The interior is all leather and is in better shape than most of these bags. Some discoloration, but the lining is intact. There are two slip and one zip pockets inside. There are, of course, some flaws in this bag that is probably 60+ years old. Some of the alligator’s tiny toes are missing. There are some tears in the leather: pic #5 shows one near the end of the zipper and the last pic shows how, under the flap just inside the zipper, there is some separation. That part is not visible unless you pull on the flap and try to look underneath. But know you are buying a somewhat fragile bag. I have owned a number of these. None is perfect. This one’s in pretty good shape, but I’ll rate it fair because it is old and has these old-bag issues! #1365/76
