Vintage baby alligator purse

This bag is from the 1940s or 50s. It has a stuffed baby alligator with blue crystal eyes on the front, brass hardware, and TWO separate compartments -- one has a small mirror, as pictured. The alligator is in good shape except for a small tear near the end of his tail, as pictured. The strap has a tear on the right side near the hardware. The strap has also been shortened at some point, also as pictured. Dimensions are 7 inches tall, 7 inches long, and 3 and 1/2 inches wide. I'd be happy to answer any questions about this bag, since I've had it for about 30 years!
