Excellent vintage condition. No flaws and no damage.
Second largest bracelet ever made by Landstrom's Jewelers in their 144 years of creating unique and beautiful jewelry. The huge amount of gold in this bracelet is clearly evident. This vintage piece has the icy pink and green leaves created in the original Black Hills design. The sides of the bracelet have a jointed three-leaf piece so that the bracelet lays best and fits comfortably. It has the traditional stretch band which will fit about a 7 inch wrist, possibly larger. (it would be fairly inexpensive to get a larger stretch band if necessary).
This beautiful bracelet is in excellent condition.
The Legend: Black Hills jewelry was first created in the 1870s during the South Dakota gold rush. French master goldsmith, Henri LeBeau, became lost while searching for gold.
He eventually fell asleep suffering from thirst and starvation and dreamed about a creek covered with grapevines. When he awoke he found that creek and from that time dedicated his life to creating beautiful jewelry in the design of leaves, grape clusters and vines made with standard yellow gold as well as green and pink gold.
It takes a series of up to 40 different steps to capture the dramatic detail in the designs of Black Hills gold jewelry.
The legend says that good luck comes to those who wear Black Hills gold. It worked for Henri.
